For the Tteokbokki Sauce:
2 cups Korean Rice Cakes (tteok), soaked in warm water for 30 minutes
1 cup Fish Cakes, sliced into bite-sized pieces
2 cups Cabbage, thinly sliced
4 cups Water
1/2 cup Gochujang (Korean Red Chili Paste)
1/4 cup Soy sauce
3 tablespoons Sugar
2 tablespoons Gochugaru (Korean Red Chili Powder)
1 tablespoon minced Garlic
1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
1 teaspoon Fish Sauce (optional)
1 boiled Egg per serving (optional, for garnish)
Chopped Green Onions (optional, for garnish)
Sesame Seeds (optional, for garnish)
